Manuscript Topics

We invite all researchers to send short communications, letter to the editor, case reports, original articles, basic or clinical research, review manuscripts for consideration for publication in a special issue “Bioengineering applied to Covid-19 pandemic: from bench to bedside ”at AIMS Bioengineering. The submitted articles must not be previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed before being accepted for publication.


In view of the need for rapid intervention by science to overcome the effects of the pandemic, both in the area of health and in technological areas, we invite you to disclose your research that will assist in this critical world moment. Potential topics to be covered by the special edition include, but are not limited to, the following:


• Development of research on laboratory animals involving COVID-19.
• Development of clinical research involving COVID-19.
• Development and testing of new materials for the treatment of patients contaminated by COVID-19.
• Systematic reviews and / or meta-analyzes for COVID-19.
