Manuscript Topics
Discrete networks enable one to model real-life phenomena in distinct areas as biology, computer science, social sciences, or transportation systems, amongst others. Their design, analysis and computational simulation constitute fundamental aspects to understand and optimize these models. With particular emphasis on establishing new synergies and new applications to the real world, the aim of this Special Issue is to publish original research articles covering (but not limited to) any of the following topics:
• Bayesian networks.
• Boolean networks.
• Control networks.
• Design of discrete networks.
• Discrete dynamic modelling.
• Discrete network analysis.
• Discrete network optimization problems.
• Discrete-time network models.
• Neural networks.
• Probabilistic networks.
• Social networks.
• Transportation networks.
