Aim and Scope

National Accounting Review is an international, interdisciplinary Open Access journal focusing on measurement of economic and social activities, national and economic and social accounting, and macroeconomic analysis based on national accounting.

National Accounting Review provides a platform for publishing original contributions and macroeconomic analysis articles on national wealth and accounting, after a rigorous peer-review process. Topics include, but are not limited to the following three aspects:

      • About the economic and social measurement, including improvement of the international comparison project (ICP), KLEMS, Sustainability measure, global value chain measures, energy statistics, and service industry measures, etc.

      • National and economic and social accounting, including the development of concepts and definitions for the measurement and analysis of income and wealth; the development and further integration of systems of economic and social statistics, and related problems of statistical methodology.

      • Macroeconomic analysis based on national accounting, including economic growth, economic fluctuations, monetary and fiscal policy effects, exchange rates, income inequality, and macroeconomic forecasts.

We publish the following article types: original research articles, reviews, editorials, letters, and conference reports.
