Manuscript Topics

Complex dynamical systems are normally characterized by systems with discontinuity or high nonlinearity. This is natural as complex dynamical systems describe the nonlinear phenomena and complex processes in nature and human society. The dynamics of complex dynamical systems exhibits various feature and consequently attracts much attention in the scientific community. To acquire the desirable dynamical behavior, plenty of control strategies are designed for complex dynamical systems, including impulsive control, sliding-mode control, finite-time control, adaptive control, to name a few. The dynamical analysis and control of complex dynamical systems have also wide relevance in engineering and social science, such as complex networks, aerospace vehicles, missile guidance, traffic forecasting, financial markets, etc. Due to the theoretical and practical significance, the theory and applications of complex dynamical systems with discontinuity or nonlinearity have been, and will continue to be, one of the most active research areas and a number of challenging questions remain open.

This special issue aims to provide a platform for researchers to disseminate original research in the fields of complex dynamical systems. This is an excellent opportunity for researchers to report their recent progresses with the scientific community, in general and particularly working in the fields related to the title of the special issue. Any latest and original work that addresses any aspect of theory and applications of complex dynamical systems with discontinuity or nonlinearity will be welcomed.
