Manuscript Topics
Local PDEs are the first instance in modelling real life phenomena in order to quantify the change of processes in terms of multiple independent variables. In order to incorporate more intricate interactions, nonlocal PDEs are better suited to describe the collective influence of various processes arising in the real life situations. These are nowadays ubiquitous, being used to describe various processes ranging from gas molecule collision and anomalous diffusion, asset prices in finance, filtering algorithms in image processing, repulsion and attraction patterns in population dynamics.
This Special Issue welcomes all original contributions that present qualitative properties such as existence, non-existence, asymptotics or regularity of solutions to local and nonlocal PDEs with a significant relevance to real life problems.
