Manuscript Topics
Autonomous decision making in the future world of connected devices empowered by artificial intelligence technology opens the door for novel computing applications. Research and development in several emerging concepts like 5G and IoT, Body Wireless Sensor Networks, Vehicular Adhoc Networks, Big Data Analytics, Cell-free Networks and Industrial IoT require the design and development of intelligent systems in diverse domains, e.g., education, industry, transportation, and enterprise, etc. Intelligent Computing techniques along with machine learning and deep learning are offering practical tools for many engineering applications. Communication networking applications, such as sensor data from driverless cars, autonomous driving wireless networks or entertainment streaming recommendations, generate enormous quantities of data for real-time collection and processing. These requirements demand the development of advanced computation applications and algorithms to perform the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning techniques in wireless communication networks.
The objective of this special issue is to explore the computation applications of Intelligent Computing Techniques to address the challenges and limitations of future wireless communication networking technologies. Computing applications-based solutions for network modelling and architecture development, networking applications, security and privacy, load balancing, and various challenges related to the design of future wireless networks using AI and deep learning methods.
We solicit to bring together researchers, academics, and individuals working in selected areas of computing applications of wireless communication networks for the submission of high-quality original research and review articles closely related to the following topics, Vehicular ad-hoc Networks, communication systems for 5G and IoT networks, computing applications of delay tolerant networks, wireless sensor networks applications in 5G, and other new topics related to wireless communication networks.
