Ever since the journal received an impact factor, the number of submissions, as well as proposals for special issues, has significantly increased. In 2021, almost 3000 papers were submitted. This clearly shows the vitality of the journal, but also induces a huge workflow for the editors and staff.
The main goal of the journal is to continue to improve the quality of submitted and published papers.

In the sixth year, AIMS Mathematics has been accepted by MathSciNet, and has Impact Factor which is 1.427.
In 2021, the number of submissions continues to increase (from 1785 to 3321), and also with the published papers. The processing period (from received to published) and acceptance rate all remains stable.
AIMS Mathematics will continue seek for more high quality articles and issues for more influence.
