The first conference on the Contemporary Issues in Banking and Finance: sustainability, Fintech and uncertainties hosted by School of Banking, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City targets to offer an academic forum for exchanging ideas in the application of theory to contemporary issues in banking and finance. This conference brings together academics, practitioners and policymakers from different countries sharing the same research interests in banking and finance. Contributions with theoretical, empirical, experimental and comprehensive meta-analysis focus are welcome. The SOB-2020 conference is hosted by School of Banking, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The relevant topics are warmly welcomed under the following three main themes:

Sustainability: Green banking and finance, banking studies, asset pricing, capital market integration, environmental finance.

Financial Technologies: Blockchain and cryptocurrency, innovation in banking & finance, Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Peer-to-peer lending, Crowdfunding, Entrepreneurial finance, Business angels, Private equity and buyouts.

Uncertainties and risks: Risk management, financial modelling, financial econometrics, behavioural Finance, M&A and Corporate Finance, emerging markets finance, international Finance.
