The special issue brings together mathematical modeling articles proposing original approaches in the field of sustainable development. Among the themes covered, particular attention is paid to the management of renewable resources, such as management of fisheries systems. With regard to the management of populations and communities, the management and control of epidemics will also be considered. These questions will be considered in the thematic issue, taking into account the detailed biological justification of mathematical models.
