Mathematical modeling and dynamical systems have played a significant role in understanding population growth, spatial invasions, disease outbreaks, viral dynamics, and other processes in the life sciences. In this special issue, we will bring together scholars from various backgrounds to publish original research articles with recent advances in the study of mathematical modeling and dynamical systems in the life sciences.
