Manuscript Topics
Computational modeling has played an important role in system biology and precision medicine. Computational tools and modeling techniques have been successfully developed to understand the complexity of biology and the pathophysiology of various biomedical diseases. This Special Issue is designed to collect recent developments in computational modeling in both biology and medicine and to bring computational scientists, mathematical modelers, biologists, and medical doctors together to enrich this field. Papers are expected to deliver a major research contribution in biological/medical sciences or mathematical/computational tools.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
• Mathematical, computational, and biophysical modeling;
• Data-driven modeling;
• Computational methods for studying models in biology and medicine.
