Manuscript Topics
Computational Intelligence creates and applies biologically inspired methods of computation to solve hard problems of artificial intelligence. Computational Neuroscience tries to understand how such problems can be solved in a generic way by the mechanisms and networks studied in neuroscience. Thus neural networks and problems of artificial general intelligence are in the common focus of both disciplines. This is also the focus of the planned interdisciplinary special issue of MBE. We invite contributions on this topic from all relevant branches of computer and neuroscience.
