Manuscript Topics
Everything in the world is a dynamical system which changes as a function of time. These changes are sometimes very slow and such systems are assumed as static to simplify the calculations only. To represent the correct physics of the dynamical systems, ordinary, partial and integro-differential equations are widely utilized depending on the problem of interest. Analytical solutions of such equations are not always feasible. In such cases, various available numerical techniques can be utilized such as finite element method, finite difference method, peridynamics, etc. Hence, this special issue focuses on the recent developments of representing dynamical systems with ordinary, partial and integro-differential equations and associated solution methodologies.
