Manuscript Topics

Network and computer applications play an important role in many different fields. The applications in these fields are often dynamic with new techniques and novel methods being constantly proposed and developed to meet new applications and challenges. The goal of this special issue is to collect recent trends for network and computer applications in mathematical biosciences and engineering.

Specific topics include but are not limited to:    
• Network and computer applications for engineering (e.g. industrial Internet of Things, smart cities, etc.)
• Network and computer applications for computational and data science (e.g. modelling, analysis, algorithms, data structures, Big data, machine learning, deep learning,  etc.).
• Network and computer applications for biomedical science (e.g. bioinformatics, biomedical systems, genomics, etc.)
• Network and computer applications for health and medicine (e.g. telemedicine, remote healthcare, physician communication networks).
• Network and computer applications for agricultural sciences (e.g. livestock monitoring, crop harvesting, decision support systems for farms, etc.)    • Other novel applications for network and computer applications.
