Manuscript Topics
There are many mathematical problems involved in civil engineering, such as prediction of dynamic response of civil structures, analysis of structural stability and vibration, modal/damage identification, wind-resistant and anti-seismic optimization design. The primary aim of this special issue is concentrative publication and dissemination of important mathematical work which has relevance to civil engineering. All original research work in this field carried out using mathematical tools is welcome to be submitted. Contributions containing formulations, algorithms, or results related to applications in civil engineering are also encouraged. Potential topics of this issue include but are not limited to:
• Nonlinear analysis
• Stochastic processes
• Calculus of variations
• Modal identification
• Damage identification algorithms
• Signal processing
• Wind resistance optimization
• Structural analysis
• Structural stability and vibration
