Manuscript Topics
Applied Statistics and Computational Statistics have experienced important advances in recent years, mainly due to the development of new statistical and computational methods. Applied Statistics has contributed to solving real-world problems, with special emphasis on Engineering, Health Sciences and Social Sciences. Computational Statistics, on the other hand, uses numerical methods and algorithms to solve problems specific to Statistics, with applications in different areas of knowledge. The aim of this Special Issue is to provide a collection of high-quality articles in the fields of Applied Statistics and Computational Statistics. Potential articles can include, but are not limited to:
Bayesian Inference
Categorical and Functional Data Analysis
Hypothesis Testing and Inference
Monte Carlo Methods and Statistical Simulation
Multivariate Analysis
Statistical Modeling
Statistical Sampling
Stochastic Processes and Time Series
