Manuscript Topics

In 1965, the idea of the fuzzy set was introduced. Since then, scholars have applied it in numerous interdisciplinary fields focusing on methodologies. In order to support human-centric procedure as a novel conceptual framework, the fuzzy set has opened up new horizons in modeling human involvement in computational intelligence to reach innovation in various disciplines such as data analysis, machine learning, decision theory, data mining, image coding, and as well as in intelligence and hybrid systems. It has been acknowledged as a brand-new research dimension in pure and applied mathematics. Considering a core subject for some decades, the fuzzy set draws the attention of scholars for setting forth answers for key concerns with definite structures examined by these ideas. Moreover, it can efficiently tackle a broad range of problems in the realistic domain, which may be beyond the competency of conventional approaches. Thus, the fuzzy set could have the capability to treat a wider variety of problems, including robotics, intelligent systems, medical and satellite systems, consumer electronics decision-making, processing information, pattern recognition, and optimization.

According to the new trends in fuzzy set theory, there is still a need to extend the fuzzy set in the form of various settings and methodologies, including artificial intelligence, fuzzy logic, and fuzzy systems (interval-valued fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, hesitant fuzzy sets, Pythagorean fuzzy sets, q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets, rough sets, fuzzy linguistic term sets), soft fuzzy sets, fuzzy soft sets, neutrosophic sets, decision support systems, computational intelligence (evolutionary computing, neural networks, and others), machine learning (with deep learning), information measures, information fusion and aggregation, cognitive and affective computing, big data analytics, blockchain technology, and so on. The application disciplines contain big data, healthcare management, environmental engineering, bioinformatics, decision support systems, e-administration, security, automation, transportation, robotics, manufacturing systems, logistics, telecommunication, circular economy, supply chain management, Industry 4.0, digital transformation, infrastructure and so on.
