Numerical computing and modelling play an important role in the field of natural sciences and engineering. Mathematical models can take many forms, including (a system of) ordinary differential equations, partial differential equations and dynamical systems etc. Computing is about developing numerical algorithms and efficient implementation of algorithms that solve differential equations or engineering problems. Numerical analysis refers to the study of approximation and stability properties of algorithms.
For the last decades, advances in computing power have enabled the use of more complex numerical methods for resolving detailed and realistic mathematical models in the fields of science and engineering.
The main focus of this special issue is on mathematical modeling and computing of real world problems and on the study of computational methods and related analysis for mathematical models. The articles appearing in this special issue would be of great interest to researchers in the fields of scientific computing and engineering.
Topics to be included
• Analytical and numerical methods for differential equations
• Computational algorithm using artificial intelligence for differential equations
