The calculus of variations continues to be an area of very rapid growth. Variational methods are indispensable as a tool in mathematical physical system and complex engineering problems A very interesting area of nonlinear analysis lies in the study of complex systems involving many analytical methods. Recently, great attention has been focused on these complex problems, both for pure mathematical research and in view of concrete real-world applications. Indeed, this type of complex problems arise in a quite natural way in different contexts, such as the description of several physical and engineering phenomena and Criticality.
Complex problem is an interdisciplinary problem, we focus on the intersection of mathematical disciplines. Like the complexity of the solution, the existence and multiplicity, regularity, symmetry and uniqueness of solutions for these various types of complex problems in differential equations are the main objectives of our attention. On the other hand, the complexity of the operator, one should notice that many results are obtained in situations where the fractional Laplacian is replaced by a more general nonlocal complex operator, such as variable-order fractional Laplace operators, fractional p(x)-Laplace operators and so on. Many new developments about these nonlocal complex problems in Analytical methods and Nonlinear dynamics need to be studied and perfected.
The aim of this Special Issue is to collect original and high-quality research and review articles related to the development of the theory and variational methods of complex problems and their applications. Both original research and review articles are welcome.
