Manuscript Topics
This special issue of Electronic Research Archive focuses on the analysis, methodology, and applications of boundary value problems (BVPs) for differential equations, a classical yet continually evolving area of mathematics with deep connections to physics, engineering, biology, and data science. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: existence, uniqueness, and multiplicity of solutions to BVPs for ordinary, partial, fractional, and integro-differential equations; singular and multi-point boundary conditions; BVPs on time scales and graphs; resonance and non-resonance problems; positive solutions and cone-theoretic methods; variational and topological methods (degree theory, fixed-point theorems, critical point theory); numerical and computational approaches to BVPs; stability and asymptotic behavior of solutions; and applications to mathematical physics, population dynamics, control theory, and related fields. The editors welcome original research articles as well as high-quality survey contributions from across the global research community.
Keywords: boundary value problems; ordinary differential equations; partial differential equations; fractional differential equations; integro-differential equations; existence and uniqueness; positive solutions; multi-point boundary conditions; time scales; singular problems; variational methods; fixed-point theory; degree theory; resonance; asymptotic behavior; numerical methods for BVPs
