The interaction between Operator Theory, Approximation Theory, and Geometry of Banach spaces is strongly present in certain classes of spaces such as Function Spaces and Sequence Spaces. As a consequence of this strong interaction, Fractional Calculus comes into play by means of differentiation and integration operators. This special issue intends to gather the most recent developments on this trend. Generalization of the differentiation and integration operators to more abstract settings such as derivations in bimodules and measures on effect algebras are very welcome.
