There are many current scientific challenges in the field of biosciences that are emerging and need to be addressed with different techniques and methods. To get scientific advances in all these problems, mathematical modeling is an important tool.

This Special Issue's goal is to gather the most recent research on the theory and applications of mathematical models in the diverse fields of biology, ecology, epidemiology, population dynamics, medicine, biopharmacy and pharmacokinetics, biotechnology, bioengineering, environmental science, etc.

We invite authors to submit original research articles in the field of biomathematics that result from the formulation, analysis, and simulation of mathematical models based on dynamical systems, partial differential equations, integro-differential equations, impulsive differential equations, fractional order differential equations, variational methods, control problems, and other mathematical tools.
