Manuscript Topics
Reliability optimization and resilience management for complex systems, including mechanical systems, infrastructure systems, etc., have been the most important concerns of the modern society. Recently, they have attracted increasing attention from academia and industries, given the fact that disruptive events are more frequent than ever before on a global scale. Resilience quantifies the ability of a system to react, absorb, adapt, and recover from disruptive events. This special issue aims to collect articles on reliability optimization and resilience management. Original research and review articles are welcome.
Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:
• complex systems
• mechanical systems
• infrastructure systems
• smart cities
• transportation systems
• power systems
• financial systems
• water systems
• supply chain
• economic resilience
