Manuscript Topics
Lie Groups have become an essential tool in many geometrical, analytical and physical problems, constituting a powerful source of techniques that provide alternative procedures to understand the evolution of several types of phenomena and their interactions. Modern developments in Differential Geometry and Operator Theory have provided additional tools and perspectives that offer new possibilities, opening new research fields in Geometric Mechanics, Lie Theory of Differential Equtions as well as Control Theory.
The aim of this Special Issue is to publish original research articles covering (but not limited to) any of the following topics.:
• (Pseudo)-Riemannian Geometries and Differential Equations
• New trends in Symplectic Geometry
• Hidden symmetries and non-locality
• Higher algebraic structures and (super)-integrability
• Symmetries of mechanical systems
• Calculus of Variations and Lie Groups
• Analysis on Lie Groups
• Lie Groups in Control Theory
• Computational Lie Theory
