ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, is a powerful conversational AI tool with the ability to communicate in multiple languages and process vast amounts of data. The commentary explores the significant impact of ChatGPT on the field of neuroscience, emphasizing its potential contributions, challenges, and ethical considerations. ChatGPT has shown promise in various aspects of neuroscience research, including hypothesis generation, data analysis, literature review, collaboration, and education. However, it is not without limitations, particularly in terms of accuracy, potential bias, and ethical concerns.   • Author's biography Arosh S. Perera Molligoda Arachchige is a final year medical student at Humanitas University, Italy. He has authored and co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in influential journals like JAMA, Journal of the American College of Radiology, European Radiology, Radiology (RSNA). His research interests include mainly medical imaging and ChatGPT. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the American Roentgen Ray Society; Kamel Chebaro is a medical student at Humanitas University, Italy. His research interests are: Neurosurgery, Neuroscience, Neuroimmunology; Alice J. M. Jelmoni is a Medicine and Surgery student at Humanitas University (Milan, Italy).
