Manuscript Topics

This special issue focuses on the publication of the latest advances in the tribology of carbon-based materials. Tribology is a multidisciplinary and multi-scale science dedicated to the study of friction, wear, and lubrication.

Submissions may thus relate to synthetic or naturally occurring materials such as graphite, graphene, carbon, diamond, polymers as well as derivatives of these materials. Proposals with results on ceramic or metallic matrix composite materials reinforced with carbon-based materials will not be excluded.
