Manuscript Topics
The interplay between algebraic geometry and theoretical physics has proven to be highly fruitful over the years. Gauge-theoretic methods in algebraic geometry, quantum topology, string theory, moonshine theory, the Langlands program, and mirror symmetry, among others, would be inconceivable without a profound understanding of the interactions between these areas. It is precisely due to this unparalleled ability to uncover unexpected relationships between distant areas that working at this interface has always fascinated mathematicians and theoretical physicists.
In this vein, the aim of this special issue is to bring together cutting-edge contributions in the field of mathematical physics. We are seeking high-quality papers that contain original research results and techniques providing insight into the interplay between mathematics and physics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
• Algebraic and complex geometry.
• Representation theory and its applications to theoretical physics.
• Special geometry and spin geometry.
• Moduli space theory.
• Integrable and super-integrable systems.
• String theory and quantum gravity.
• Mirror symmetry, from both a physical and a mathematical viewpoint.
• Classical and quantum field theory.
• Dynamical systems.
• Knot theory in relation to quantum topology and quantum groups.
• Computer-assisted methods in geometry and physics.
