Manuscript Topics

In the recent years, a new trend has been gaining more popularity: extension of the classical Operator Theory and the classical Geometry of Banach Spaces to the scope of topological modules over topological rings. In particular, geometric properties involved in the study of classical Banach spaces, such as convexity, balancedness, absorbance, etc., have already been transported to other abstract settings like C*-algebras or topological vector spaces over absolutely valued division rings.

This special issue mainly focuses on the most recent advances of Geometric Analysis in abstract settings such as C*-algebras, Banach algebras, topological groups and topological modules. Connections with other universal algebras like Boolean algebras or effect algebras are also welcome.
