Topical Section: Behavior Change

With an increasing recognition of the importance of lifestyle and modifiable risk factors as key determinants of individual and public health, there is growing interest in optimizing successful behavior change. This can include frameworks, theories and strategies at individual, group, environmental and societal levels. Moreover, approaches might involve a number of behavior change techniques and functions, including those aimed at policy change.

AIMS Public Health has included a section dedicated to "Behavior Change" and encourages submissions of papers. Contributions should be focused on one or multiple levels of determinants and be based on sound frameworks or theory. Research addressing behavioral maintenance is particularly encouraged.
