Topical Section: Porous Materials
The "Porous Materials" section is devoted to the publication of original high-quality research contributions focused on materials that have porosity as a major feature. We welcome works providing significant insight into, and/or improved methodologies for, the synthesis, modification, structural and physicochemical characterization, evaluation and applications of porous materials, including but not limited to zeolites, aluminophosphates, metal organic frameworks (MOFs), covalent organic frameworks (COFs), mesoporous silicas and metal oxides, porous ceramics, porous carbons and aerogels. We are eager to publish well-designed and well performed research on microporous, mesoporous, macroporous and hierarchically porous materials of interest in fields such as catalysis, chemical sensing, separation, purification, gas storage, drug delivery, radioactive and toxic ion capture, insulating dielectrics, membranes, supercapacitors, light harvesting, etc.
