Manuscript Topics
Bioconversion technology is of today's important challenges for alternative and renewable resources from biomass and waste organic materials. The advanced biotechnology and nanotechnology have significantly promoted the development of the biocatalysts and bioconversion technologies for the production of bioenergy and biomaterials from renewable sources, especially from industrial and agricultural organic waste streams.
We intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and comprehensive review articles for consideration for publication in a special issue “Bioconversion for Renewable Energy and Biomaterials” in the AIMS Bioengineering. These articles will be published in AIMS Bioengineering open access free of charge. Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed before their acceptance for publication.
Potential topics include, but not limited to
• Renewable energy
• Biomaterials
• Biocatalysts for bioconversion system
• Design and optimization of bioconversion process
• Compute and or mathematic modelling of bioreactor system
• Life cycle assessment of bioconversion process
